*** Revised Common Lectionary *** Lectionary Reading: Psalm 119:1-8 CLASSIC POEM: Blest are the undefiled in heart Isaac Watts Blest are the undefiled in heart, whose ways are right and clean; who never from your law depart, but flee from every sin. Blest are the ones that keep your word, and serve you with their hands; with their whole heart they seek you, Lord, obeying your commands. Great is their peace who love your law; how firm their souls abide! Nor can a bold temptation draw their steady feet aside. Then shall my heart have inward joy! I’ll keep my steps from shame; your statutes help me to obey, and glorify your name. *** This poem is in the public domain, and may be read in a live-streamed worship service.
