Full Text:
1 God, hear my voice, hear my complaint, preserve me from my foe. 2 Hide me from plotting enemies and violent crowds that grow. 3 Their tongues are sharpened like a sword, with bitter speech like spears; 4 to shoot in secret at the just, suddenly, without fear. 5 They meet to speak of evil plans; they talk about their snares. They say, “Who possibly can see these things we do? Who cares?” 6 They spend their days devising schemes, they think their plans are deep; but God will judge their “perfect plan,” and show just who can see. 7 Then God will shoot and strike them down; 8 their words shall be their shame. Horror will fill those who look on, 9 and all shall fear God’s name. And all will tell what God has done and contemplate your ways. 10 The righteous shall rejoice in God and bring to him their praise. – cento
