Are you talking about Indigenous justice with the kids in your church? Here are a few lesson ideas to get you started! 10 Books about Residential Schools to Read with Your Kids This list, divided by age group, helps parents, teachers, and caregivers to open a conversation about reconciliation using language and stories that kids can understand. Kids Corner Devotion Check out this audio lesson and comic strip designed to teach kids about reconciliation and what it means to live in unity together. Kids for Kids This simple lesson plan talks about the creation of humanity in God’s image, and how that makes every single one of us special! Book List This list of kids books provided by justice and reconciliation mobilizer Shannon Perez is a great way to introduce kids to this justice topic. Education Together Our partners at the Centre for Public Dialogue have created a great activity based on educational equity for Indigenous students. Check it out on their website.
