Shadows can gather
The night closes in
And the fear becomes thicker
It shakes me
Takes me
To the places
I never want to go
But the light shines
When I let go
And He comes through
Turning night into day
Forcing shadows to retreat
And bringing me home
Free of the fear
Once again
