Failed! – Hebrews 2:7-8
We were not born as angels
Positioned just a little lower
But is that which we have achieved
Is humanity what it’s made to be
If I look across our history
For all we’ve achieved
Yet we have failed
How can we be just below the angels
When in reality all we’ve achieved is misery
All the hurt, the wars, the hatred
And much of it we say
Is in the name of God
Who are we really kidding
We’ve achieved nothing He meant us to be
And what of the next generation
What have we set in place for them
Just a world mired in it’s misery
