Turn To Stone – 1 Kings 21:4
We want for so much
Desire a burning flame
And when it’s extinguished
We turn to stone
That sickness within
Shut everyone out
Regret it’s own prison
We find ourselves in
Is this prison
Which we make for ourselves
A failure to take
All that we want
Or maybe think we want
It leads to so much sorrow
We turn to stone
Just cold to those around
Why do we put our hopes
On all theses lost desires
Instead of holding to our faith
