Believing the Resurrection

November 15, 2013   •   Acts 17

The Apostle Paul never let an opportunity to present the Good News of Jesus Christ go to waste. So while he was in the Greek city of Athens one day, he decided to use the Athenians’ love of conversation as a doorway through which to bring the Gospel. Some of the things Paul said that day have become vital theological topics in the history of the church. The reaction he got from his Greek conversation partners that day when he began talking about the resurrection foreshadows what today continues to be a point of resistance to the Gospel for many people. What can we learn from his style? This week on Groundwork, we study Acts 17 to find out.
