Description: Solomon casts two bronze pillars for the temple and names them Jachin and Boaz. The two bronze capitals were decorated with pomegranate and lilies. This and other woodcuts in this 1533 Bible are the work of the German artist, Erhard Altdorfer (d. 1561).
