(based on Psalm 27:1, 5-6)
The Lord is our light and our salvation—
why should we be afraid?
The Lord protects us from danger—
why should we worry?
For God’s house is our shelter and retreat.
It is here that we find peace
in the midst of the storm and turmoil of our lives.
For God lifts us above the fray and sets us high on a
rock,
safely out of reach of those things that threaten to
devour us.
So come,
let us enter God’s presence with thanksgiving and
praise,
offering our worship with joy!
