Saul to Paul
November 1, 2013 • Acts 9
The preacher and writer Frederick Buechner once memorably summed up history’s most famous conversion by saying that the man Saul of Tarsus “set out for Damascus as a hatchet man for the Pharisees and returned a fool for Christ.” The turn-around of the man who became known as the Apostle Paul is one of the most iconic moments in the Book of Acts as the power of the risen Lord Jesus confronted the very man whose #1 goal was to wipe the name of Jesus from the face of the earth.
