Description: This print features the scene to the right is Samson setting fire to the grain of the Philistines by tying two foxes together with fire. The foreground left scene is Sampson killing the Philistines with the jaw of an ass. The scene foreground right is Samson drinking water after the battles. He names the place En-hakkore. This and other woodcuts in this 1533 Bible are the work of the German artist, Erhard Altdorfer (d. 1561).
