Karoline Lewis, Associate Professor of Biblical Preaching and The Marbury E. Anderson Chair of Biblical Preaching at Luther Seminary in St. Paul, Minnesota, is also one of the “stars” of the Sermon Brainwave podcast, a favorite of working preachers everywhere. She is also the author of the Fortress Press preaching commentary on John’s Gospel, and therefore an able interpreter of this week’s passage from John 17:6-19.
